Orbbec dToF LiDAR Pulsar SL450

The Pulsar SL450 is a cost-effective single-line spinning LiDAR that employs direct ToF ranging. It features a high-precision rotating mirror system and high-frequency laser emitter to scan a 270° horizontal field up to 45 m away[272]. The SL450 generates a dense point cloud with a scan frequency up to 72 kHz, achieving angular resolutions as fine as 0.075° in its highest-density mode.

Thanks to multi-echo detection and noise filtering, it maintains accurate readings (~±20 mm) even in the presence of light dust or fog.

The LiDAR’s consistent point cloud quality (uniform accuracy distribution without bias drift) enables reliable mapping and localization for applications like warehouse robots, autonomous forklifts, and service robots.

With an IP65-rated enclosure and an operating range of –10 °C to +55 °C, the Pulsar SL450 is built for durable performance in real-world environments.
